Welcome
The Computer Engineering group is one of three research groups at TIK. It is headed by Prof. Lothar Thiele and includes the Speech Processing group headed by Dr. Beat Pfister. Our research and teaching activities concentrate on design, engineering methodologies, and tools for networked embedded systems and software.
In particular we are active in the following areas
- design and implementation of wireless sensor networks,
- performance analysis of distributed real-time systems,
- design and performance analysis of multi-processor systems, and
- multiobjective optimization via evolutionary strategies.
